Quiet Westend Apartment near Sunset Beach

I'm an English professor teaching in Montreal. My husband and I are looking for a tenant for our fully-furnished apartment in the Westend while we are away for the academic school year. We are renting the apartment as a one bedroom/one bathroom, though there is a second bedroom that will be partially usable as an office, as you can see from the photos. We will be storing some of our stuff in there, but there will certainly be enough space to use the large standing desk. Alternatively, you could also use the second bedroom for storage. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a five-story building (with an elevator) on a tree-lined street, two blocks from Sunset Beach and two blocks from Davie Street, where there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, groceries and other businesses. It gets nice light and you'd have everything you need, from furniture to linens to pots and pans. There is air-conditioning and a wood-burning fireplace, as well as secure bicycle storage and an underground parking lot. You would have a dedicated parking spot. We are conveniently close to bus stops. I usually commute to UBC by bicycle, it takes about 35 mins. We love living in this neighbourhood, which is quiet and peaceful while still being close to everything that makes Vancouver special. The rental would be for the academic term, from around mid-August to April 30th. We really want someone who would stay for the entire time. If, however, you wanted to negotiate a shorter stay for increased rent, we could have a conversation about it!
