We are an academic family with long-standing ties to Williamstown and the surrounding college community. We have loved living in this home and have taken great care of it over the years. It has been a warm, peaceful, and creative place for our family, and we hope to find tenants who will appreciate its character, comfort, garden, and wonderful location. Because our professional and family circumstances are taking us elsewhere during the 2026–2027 academic year, we are looking to rent the house fully furnished for a nine-month period, from September 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, with the possibility of renewal or extension by mutual agreement. We would be especially happy to rent to visiting faculty, researchers, artists, writers, professionals relocating to the area, or a family connected to Williams College or the local schools. The house is well suited to people who value a quiet, light-filled, well-maintained home with easy access to campus, town, schools, trails, and nature. We are looking for responsible, respectful tenants who will care for the house as a home. No smoking is permitted inside the property. Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval and an additional pet deposit. Tenants would be responsible for routine upkeep during the lease term, including lawn care, snow removal, general cleanliness, and basic household maintenance, while we would remain responsible for major repairs, systems issues, and structural maintenance. We would be glad to answer questions and share more information with prospective tenants who think the home may be a good fit.
