Welcome to our cosy and modern apartment, by the beautiful lake Lac du Bourget (Savoie-France). We have a large living room with an open-plan kitchen (fully equipped), one bedroom with a double bed, one office room with a sofa bed. A bathroom (shower) and separate toilet complete the accommodation. We should not forget the beautiful balcony ! The flat is on the first floor and can be reached by lift directly from the underground car park. There is also a bicycle storage room there. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, our home is by the lake and opposite a parc, where it is nice to walk, to sit in the sun, to have a picnic before jumping into the water! There is bus stop a few steps away. The local shops (bakeries, butchers, delicatessens, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes, street market, etc. ) are just a few minutes' walk away via a footpath. Savoie Technolac, 5 minutes away, is a technology park specialising in renewable energy and digital technology. One campus of the University Savoie Mont Blanc is also based there (around 6,000 students). The lake is surrounded by mountains where there are a lot of hiking trails and some ski resorts. You can also find many cycle paths starting in front of our home. A few minutes' drive are Aix les Bains -very nice city renowned for its thermal waters- and Chambery, a bigger city with many shopping facilities, movie houses, theatres, museums, ... Annecy, Grenoble as well as Geneva are about one hour drive.
