I am subletting my beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in Back Bay for August, with the option to extend into the first week of September. Available for the full month or shorter stays. The apartment is on the 6th floor with hardwood floors, great natural light all day, and stunning views of the Prudential. It is directly on Mass Ave but faces the back of the building, so it’s very quiet. I’m an Italian college professor, and I’ve lived in this apartment with my husband for the past three years. We’ve made the space feel very much like home, and I’m subletting it while spending August back home in Italy. I’m looking for someone who will enjoy the apartment and take good care of it, including watering the plants. I’m very happy to share tips on the neighborhood, favorite restaurants and cafes, transit, and anything else that helps you feel at home. The apartment has one queen bed and one full bed, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, bathtub, portable AC, a large fridge and freezer, and a fully stocked kitchen. The living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa, daybed, dining table, and kitchen island. The building has a small elevator that fits two people (ore one person and a stroller). Amazing Back Bay location, on the elegant first stretch of Mass Ave between Beacon and Marlborough, with ASTA and Café Sauvage just downstairs. Back Bay is a “Walker’s Paradise,” with a Walk Score of 96. The area is walkable. You’re close to the Esplanade for running and the beer garden, Newbury Street for some of Boston’s best restaurants, cafes, and shopping, and iconic Marlborough Street. Fenway, BU, and MIT are all within walking distance. The Green Line is a 2-minute walk, with Bluebikes and the bus to Harvard Square right downstairs. Available for all of August, and the first week of September with flexibility on the dates. Some storage space available. No pets. Shorter or longer stays (discounted) possible.
