NEIGHBORHOOD: The apartment is in one of our favorite locations in Atlanta: the building is literally on Piedmont Park and looks out toward the park. You can walk out of the building and immediately be in the park for a run, a walk, or simply some time outdoors. Piedmont Park also connects directly to the Atlanta Beltline, so it is easy to walk or bike to restaurants, cafés, neighborhoods, and many of Atlanta’s main attractions. Although the apartment is in the middle of Midtown, it is completely quiet. The Midtown MARTA station is about a 10-minute walk away, with easy connections to downtown, the airport, and other parts of Atlanta. Whole Foods, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and other Midtown amenities are also within easy walking distance. APARTMENT: This is our home and normally occupied by young professionals, so it is furnished and equipped as a real home rather than as a temporary rental. We are looking for someone who will appreciate having a comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully set-up place to work, study, and relax. The apartment is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom home with comfortable furnishings, good natural light, central heat and air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and in-unit laundry. There is a dining area that can be converted into a work area, making it well suited to an academic visitor, remote worker, or someone relocating to Atlanta. The kitchen is fully equipped for someone who actually likes to cook. It includes good-quality cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, appliances, and a Nespresso machine, along with the everyday items that are often missing from short-term rentals. BUILDING: The apartment is in a quiet, gated building with controlled access.
