House in friendly neighbourhood available to scholars in Liverpool/UK

Description

As I teach abroad, my house in Liverpool is available during term time. You will be renting a traditional two-up-two-down in a desirable part of Liverpool. A quiet street within walking distance of local shops, parks, take-outs and cafés (and around the corner from Ringo Starr’s old home). Short walk or cycle to University of Liverpool or LIPA campus, city centre and river. Bus stops are nearby. The building is quite old itself, though has been modernised (double glazing, central heating, etc) but has relatively few sockets and a rather idiosyncratic set up for light switches. Spacious front-and back room. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with tub and shower. Master bedroom (bedding, sheets, towels supplied). The study is basically my storage. The house is fully furnished and includes my book and CD library. Radio (DAB) in basically every room. In a way, for those who stay, they are almost house sitters as you will find everything needed available. WIFI is available (SIM based) and capacity can be negotiated. Double bed in bedroom. The frontroom has a sofabed which can also sleep two. There is a yard with trees and composting facilities. This works well for anyone who is on a one or two-semester sabbatical. Shorter stays can be considered.
