Welcome to our peaceful Alpine apartment in Schladming, Austria. This is our much-loved holiday home and we are delighted to share it with guests looking for an inspiring place to live, work or simply enjoy an extended stay in one of Europe's most beautiful mountain regions. The apartment enjoys panoramic views towards the famous Planai FIS Alpine Ski World Cup slope and the surrounding mountains. From the private south-facing balc0ny you can watch the changing light across the Alps throughout the day while enjoying breakfast, reading, writing or simply relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Comfortably accomodating up to four guests, the apartment has been thoughtfully equipped for both short and extended stays. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining area, modern bathroom, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV and garage parking. We have furnished it as a home rather than a holiday rental creating a warm comfortable and practical space where guests can quickly settle in. Schladming is a vibrant year- round Alpine town offering outstanding opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, trail running, climbing and cross country skiing. The Planai lift station, walking trails , supermarkets , cafes and restaurants are all easily accessible, making it easy to combine productive work with an active outdoor lifestyle. One of the greatest pleasures of staying here is the Alpine environment itself. The clean mountain air, peaceful surroundings and spectacular scenery create an atmosphere that many guests find both restorative and insprining. Whther you enjoy daiily walks, challenging mountain hikes or simply sitting on the balcony taking in the views, Schladming offers a healthy pace of life that encourages both wellbeing and creativity. The apartment also provides an excellent base for exploring Austria. Salzburg, home to the University of Salzburg and world famous for its architecture, music and cultural life, is approximately 90 minutes away by train or car. The UNESCO World Heritage village of Hallstatt, the Dachstein Glacier, alpine lakes, traditional mountain huts and many of Austria's finest walking routes are all within easy reach for memorable day trips. Because of its peaceful setting and excellent connectivity, the apartment is particularly well suited to academics, researchers, visiting lecturers, writers, artists, digital professionals and anyone seeking uninterrupted time to focus while enjoying an exceptional quality of life. Reliable internet and comfortable living spaces make remote working straightforward , while the surrounding mountains provide the perfect balance between work and relaxation.
