Very nice and stylish appartement in central Nantes

Description

I am a researcher on a one-year work assignment in Germany. I am looking to rent out my apartment in downtown Nantes from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027. The apartment is located on a pedestrian street, on the first floor of an older building near Place Royale. The neighborhood is ideally located to enjoy downtown Nantes: a nearby supermarket, a Saturday market, art-house cinemas, museums, walks along the banks of the Loire River... The apartment is 53 square meters, has high ceilings (2.5 meters), the floors are oak parquet, and the whole place was completely renovated and insulated in 2025 in a contemporary, designer style. It features a large open-concept living room and kitchen, a bathroom with a large shower-tub combination, a quiet bedroom overlooking the courtyard with a double bed, a hallway, and a separate toilet equipped with a Boku bidet (spray-type). Heating consists of gentle-heat cast-iron electric radiators. The LED lighting system with indirect lighting makes it very cozy. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports in every room. The living room features a large, very comfortable sofa and a sofa bed, so you can temporarily accommodate up to three visiting friends (one on the large sofa, which is spacious enough for an adult to lie down on, and two on the fold-out sofa bed). The kitchen, which is very well-equipped, features ample storage, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a conventional oven with convection and steam cooking functions. There is also a washer-dryer combo within the apartment.. The apartment has a very large bookshelf well-stocked with novels and comic books, which you are welcome to use (provided, of course, that you put the books back where they belong when you’re done). You can also store your own books there, as some shelves have been left empty for your use. I also offer to let you use my old, medium-sized bicycle, which you can lock in the courtyard if you need it for getting around.
