The studio is located on the second floor of a characterful townhouse, within walking distance of the city centre and the main railway station. There is parking just around the corner. The studio is suitable for short and longer stays with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The space You enter the loft studio via a beautiful, wide staircase decorated with rare and valuable works of art. Paintings and sculptures by renowned artists also add a wonderful atmosphere to the open-plan studio, which is furnished with modern designs combined with classic features and piles of books. The bed area overlooks an authentic clawfoot tub in the luxurious, renovated bathroom. Adjoining this is the cosy living area and a dining area in a well-equipped kitchen. A separate toilet, as well as the washing machine and dryer, can be accessed via the landing. The apartment is located within walking distance of the center and central station. It is relatively quiet but on a somewhat busier road. At 300 meters away there is a large parking space where bicycles can also be rented. Upon request, an additional room next to the studio can be used as storage for the host, who lives on the first floor. This is an ideal starting point to discover charming Leiden. You can walk in 10 minutes to the heart of Leiden with many museums, churches and delicious restaurants. On Saturdays and Wednesdays there is a market where you can find fresh fish, tulips from the bulb region, and fantastic soft-old cheese. You can walk through the Singelpark around the city or sail across the canals. Within half an hour cycling you are also in the dunes right by the sea! Other things to note Marlene lives on the first floor, and if you need anything, you can call her at any time. Parking is available in the Haagweg Parking lot, a few minutes' walk from the loft. From the parking lot you can take a free shuttle to the city center.
