We are a professor at IU Indianapolis and family preparing for a Fulbright experience abroad, and we’re excited to share our home during that time. This space is a place of daily living, retreat, and meaningful work for us, and we hope it offers the same ease and comfort to others. With over 3,600 square feet, the home features an open layout, high ceilings, abundant natural light, and hardwood floors throughout—creating an environment that feels both expansive and grounded. The main living area centers around a warm fireplace and flows into a fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances, double ovens, granite countertops, and a large island—ideal for preparing meals at home during a longer stay. A formal dining space and multiple living areas provide flexibility for hosting, reading, or quiet evenings in. Outfitted with all linens, dishes, cookware, and basic toiletries, the home is designed to provide a seamless, move-in-ready experience. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a spacious retreat with a walk-in closet and a tiled shower, while additional bedrooms allow for visiting family, children, or a dedicated office. The finished basement includes a recreation area and a studio/workshop space with a utility sink—well-suited for creative work, remote projects, or writing. Outdoor spaces include a welcoming front porch and a fully fenced backyard with a patio, offering room to relax, reflect, or gather. A detached garage and ample storage add to the ease of daily living. We are looking for a visiting academic, medical professional, or similarly situated professional—and their family—who will enjoy settling into this home and experiencing Indianapolis. Ideally, someone who values a well-cared-for space, a quiet neighborhood, and a sense of community.
