Our 1-bedroom, 1-bath loft is set within a historic 1890s building and features a spacious living room and an eat-in kitchen. This is envisioned as an apartment for a couple or individual looking for a quiet urban hideaway. We worked with a well-known local architecture firm to do our renovations which were completed at the beginning of 2026. The living room includes a foldaway study nook, while the bedroom features a dedicated writing desk, making the apartment especially well suited for reading, writing, or remote work. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom all have lofted ceilings with exposed original wood beams. At their highest point, the ceilings reach 3 meters, creating an unusually open and airy feel for a loft. The living room and entryway are further enhanced by full-height 3-meter ceilings. The apartment overlooks the interior courtyard (cortile) of the building and features three small balconies framed by vaulted arch windows. Despite being in the heart of Crocetta, one of the city's most central neighborhoods, the home is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Beautiful morning light fills the apartment until early afternoon. This is a residential building with long-term families living on the other floors, giving it a warm, homey atmosphere. The tram line and bus stops connecting you to the city-center and the Valentine park are just around the corner. Porta Nuova Station is just over a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city or travel farther afield. As a loft, the apartment is equipped with both hot and cold air conditioning, complementing the building's central heating during the winter months to ensure year-round comfort.
