This one-bedroom flat is available when I'm away travelling. As an academic, I'm keen to host other researchers, writers, and scholars during their time in London. The fully furnished flat consists of a bedroom, living area with kitchen (fully equipped with all you'll need), dedicated office space (desk, office chair, printer, ring light), and balcony with views towards the City of London. The bathroom has a combined shower and bathtub. No shortage of books to read. Note: no television. The building includes an elevator and intercom entry system. The building consists of 9 flats, built five years ago. A storage room houses a washer-dryer, iron and ironing board. Bed linen, towels, and basic toiletries are provided. Located 5–10 minutes walk from Queen Mary University of London. Excellent public transport from Whitechapel Station (District, Hammersmith and City, Elizabeth Line; Overground) and nearby Shadwell for the DLR. Direct Elizabeth Line to Heathrow. You can easily travel from here to most of London and most of London's universities and research institutions. The area is bustling and multicultural. Independent cafés, restaurants, and Brick Lane are within walking distance. Corner shop on the ground floor, several supermarkets, including a large Sainsbury's, nearby.
