Description

We are an Canadian/American and a Brazilian/American couple who relocated to France for work opportunities. We work in the fields or manufacturing and product design in the eyewear sector and and in visual investigations and design for a European human rights organization, respectively. After long stints in the US France has been a refreshing and exciting alternative, both culturally and linguistically. The apartment is walking distance to Roland Garros, Parc de Prince, Bois Boulogne, Long Champ and other lovely park spaces. 30 minutes (or less) to Paris center on the metro and most major attractions. Major farmer market days 3 times a week and small supplementary markets in-between; quality bakeries: Leonie, Maison Landemaine, Archibald; a generally wide array of very nice independently run shops and restaurants. Great place to explore and discover Paris' western suburb along with some of the city's less frequented museums and parts of the Seine laden with houseboats and liveaboard barges. For trips to Normandy and the coast, conveniently located to major exits west and the periphérique for quick access to leave the city by car.
