The Neighbourhood Our home is close to downtown while surrounded by parks, waterfront paths and excellent cycling routes. - A short walk to Vic West Village, with cafés, bakeries, local shops and ice cream - Five minutes from Banfield Park’s swimming dock—ideal for swimming or launching a paddleboard or kayak - A few blocks from Gorge Park and its beautiful Japanese gardens - Easy access to waterfront walking and cycling paths - Approximately eight minutes to downtown by car or 15 minutes by bus Universities and Transportation - The No. 14 bus stops half a block from the house and travels directly to the University of Victoria - UVic is approximately 30 minutes by bus, 40 minutes by bike or 20 minutes by car - Royal Roads University is approximately 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bike About Us and Who We’re Looking For We are a family taking a four-month sabbatical and are looking for tenants who will enjoy our home. It would be ideal for a family, visiting academics or professionals, or another responsible group looking for a comfortable home base in Victoria. We have a friendly medium sized dog. If you would be interested in caring for our dog during your stay, please let us know, as we could offer reduced rent in exchange. Dog care is entirely optional; otherwise, our dog will stay elsewhere during our sabbatical. We love living in Victoria and hope our home will provide a welcoming and comfortable place for another family or group to enjoy the city.
