Loft room with ensuite in well connected, comfortable home in South London

This is a comfortable, quiet loft room in our home, a four bedroom terraced house in Streatham Hill. We live in easy reach of central London, a three minute walk to Streatham Hill station with regular trains to Victoria and London Bridge and frequent buses to Brixton and the Victoria line to central London. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars, gyms, open spaces, cinemas etc within walking distance. I am a recently retired teacher and my wife is a therapist. We have had lodgers for most of the last 15 years at our old house and this one, so are used to sharing our living space. Now that our two sons have left home, we are happy to welcome people who are looking for a place to stay and/or study in London. The room itself is at the top of the house with a comfortable double bed, and a desk. it is an original loft room, not a conversion, though we did enlarge it and added a shower room after moving in four years ago. We also put in a new kitchen and relandscaped the garden. You are of course welcome to use the lounge and kitchen facilities; in our experience it always works best when guests make themselves at home.
