Spacious Furnished Apartment in Berlin-Lichterfelde – Ideal for a Sabbatical or Research Stay We are offering our fully furnished apartment in Berlin-Lichterfelde Ost while we are spending a research sabbatical at UC Berkeley. The apartment offers 130 m² of living space with 3.5 rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and one bathroom. It comfortably accommodates up to six people with one king-size bed, one double bed, and two single beds. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the southwest of Berlin, the apartment has excellent public transport connections. The Free University of Berlin can be reached in about 10 minutes by direct X11 bus or 15–20 minutes by bicycle (one bicycle is available). The S-Bahn provides quick and convenient access to central Berlin. The apartment is fully furnished and includes high-speed internet, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. A wonderful local bakery and café are just around the corner, while supermarkets and other everyday amenities are within walking distance. The apartment is particularly well suited for visiting researchers, academics, professionals, or anyone looking for a comfortable home during a medium-term stay in Berlin. We are looking for responsible tenants who will enjoy our home during our time abroad and treat it with care. Availability: Early September – End December 2026 (approximately four months). Rent: €1,900 per month, all utilities included.
