We are a family of four looking to rent our wonderful house in Seattle’s Green Lake/Tangletown neighborhood while we are on sabbatical from the University of Washington in the first half of 2027. Our home would be a great fit for a couple or family looking for short-term housing while on sabbatical, renovating their home, exploring longer-term housing options in Seattle, or for other reasons seeking a short term rental home. We love our house! It is a classic Craftsman bungalow with finished basement, extensively and beautifully renovated by JAS Design-Build in 2022-2023. The house is a short walk from the Tangletown, Wallingford, and Green Lake commercial districts, and is ideal situated for commuting via car, bike, or public transit to many locations in the greater Seattle area. Main floor: - First floor renovated in 2022/23. - Open floor-plan with living room connected to kitchen, dining area, and hang-out nook, all very well-lit with many windows, and French doors leading out to backyard and deck. - Large office with 2 desks and sofa. Use of 2 computer monitors negotiable. - Stunning chef's kitchen with 6-burner Wolf gas range + 2 ovens (Wolf oven and Miele steam oven), microwave, dishwasher, pantry, large island with seating, substantial additional counter space, and many other amenities.
