Looking for responsible, quiet, academic tenant who appreciates nature and beautiful surroundings. We are friendly and can offer information and support, but we stay separate and no requirement to engage. Common space is only front hallway entrance and laundry room. Tenants can set up food/beverage area in their room and also have access to a full refrigerator, stove, sink, cabinets in the 'kitchen annex' that is part of the large laundry room. Owner kitchen is separate. We have had years of wonderful students and professors staying here. Home is unique mid century contemporary prairie style, rare in New England. First owner and builder came from CA and brought his style with him. Rooms blend in seamlessly with the woodland surrounding. We have maintained that feeling. There are 2 separate private suites that we rent, one on first floor and one above on second floor. First floor had a dedicated office while second floor can create an office space in a large closet if you desire to have that separated from your bedroom/living area.. First floor has a little alcove entry that opens to the bathroom and separate door to bedroom. This is definitely a unique and inspiring, relaxing setting. This is not a place to invite local guests to socialize, but if you have significant out of town family who visit occasionally and want to stay with you for a night or two, we work that out (they become a known entity). Owner family bedrooms are down a long hall in a separate section of the second floor, so things feel very private for everyone. I'm very open to responding to your questions.
