We are a family of three relocating to Berlin for one year, and we're hoping to find someone who will love this apartment the way we do, a responsible tenant who will treat our home and belongings with care. The apartment spans the top two floors of a townhouse on a quiet, tree-lined street. The lower floor is a large open kitchen, dining, and living area, perfect for cooking, long dinners, and movie nights (speakers included, please use them!). The back bedroom faces the quiet interior of the block and fills with morning sun; with its fold-out futon, it works beautifully as a guest room, private office, or playroom. A full bathroom sits just off the hallway. Upstairs is a spacious primary bedroom with ensuite bat, large shower, bathtub, and a skylight overhead that lets gorgeous light streak in. The closets are massive, and you're welcome to use them. Three steps lead from the bedroom up to a gated walkout patio and your own private rooftop, no one else has access, where you can even spot the World Trade Center peeking up behind the Bedford Armory. The two floors are well sound-isolated with a door between them, and we've never had noise issues in either direction. It's a quiet, comfortable home in a safe, lively neighborhood, and we'd love for it to be in good hands while we're away.
