We’re two academics offering our fully furnished home in Little Venice while we’re away for the autumn term. The apartment was completely renovated in 2023 and is a comfortable, stylish and very well-equipped home, ideal for an academic, couple or small family spending a few months in London. Little Venice is one of central London’s loveliest residential neighbourhoods, with canals, cafés and restaurants nearby, while Paddington, Hyde Park and Regent’s Park are all within easy reach. Despite the central location, the area is quiet and residential. Excellent Underground, Elizabeth line, rail and bus connections make it easy to get around London and beyond. The location is especially convenient for visiting academics. Imperial College London’s St Mary’s Campus is within walking distance, with London Business School, University of Westminster, Regent’s University, UCL and Imperial’s South Kensington campus all very easily accessible. Direct trains to Oxford, Bath, etc. The home has fast Wi-Fi and comfortable space for working from home, as well as a fully equipped modern kitchen. The monthly rate includes council tax, broadband, utilities and cleaning every other Wednesday morning. We’re looking for someone who will enjoy and look after the apartment as their home during their stay. We would ideally like one tenant, couple or family for most or all of the available period. Pets and use of our car may be possible by arrangement, with car use subject to insurance approval and any additional insurance costs.
