Beautiful 5 room furnished apartment overlooking canal on Maybachufer

This extraordinary apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms in the back, and a large study, large living room and eat-in kitchen with a balcony overlooking the canal in the front. Looking out the windows you may think you're in the country with mature trees and swans swimming on the canal, but the neighbourhood is the most international in Berlin, full of cafes and small independent shops. (Maybachufer, the name of the street, was chosen last year by the UK magazine Time Out as one of the best in the world.). Everything you'll need on a daily basis is within a ten minute walk of the apartment, and public transportation to the rest of Berlin is a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The home is fully furnished with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, a well-stocked kitchen, a working fireplace in the living room and an elevator that goes directly to this third-floor apartment. I am looking for responsible guests who will appreciate the original artworks throughout the house and leave the apartment as they found it. The apartment is available from January 10-May 17; some flexibility about exact dates, but I'm only interested in renting to one person, family or group for that period.
