I am a researcher at a London university and will be abroad for one year, so I am looking for a fellow academic to rent my flat. The flat would be particularly well suited to a fellow academic, researcher or professional looking for a comfortable home in a well-connected part of East London. The flat is bright, comfortable and well connected, with a desk in the living room, making it ideal for working or studying from home. The building is well maintained, accessible, and has a secure bike shed. The flat is fully furnished and ready to move into, so you won't need to bring anything apart from your personal belongings. This includes: fully equipped kitchen with all necessary kitchen utensils, cookware and crockery; Bed and bedding; Two TVs; Desk and workspace in the living room; Furniture and essentials for comfortable day-to-day living. I particularly love the surrounding area, with its beautiful East London canals and vibrant neighbourhoods. Stratford and its parks are also very close by, while the excellent public transport connections make it easy to reach universities and other parts of London. There is a second bedroom with an en-suite bathroom where I will keep some of my personal belongings while I am away. This room will remain closed and is not included in the rental. The guest will have exclusive use of the rest of the flat, including the main bedroom, main bathroom, kitchen and living areas. This is not a room rental or a house share: I will be abroad during the rental period and will not be living in the property.
