This east-facing home enjoys a private stretch of waterfront on the flat, rocky shores of Hood Canal. There's so much to keep you at home here, but there's also much to explore, from lovely Lake Cushman (nine miles) to the vast network of trails in neighboring Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park. The house was seemingly designed for gathering with friends and family, beginning with the expansive waterfront patio. Take your pick of multiple seating vignettes in both sun and shade, pull up a stool for a cold drink at the outdoor bar, and admire the incredible view as you barbecue and dine alfresco. The interior is a showcase of the natural setting as well, thanks to large picture windows and an open floor plan brimming with sunlight. Whether you're setting up a board game, streaming movies in the living room, or preparing and sitting down to a homemade meal, you'll never lose sight of the water. Of the the three serene bedrooms, one is a primary suite with an attached bunk nook for little kids; another opens directly to the back patio. Central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well. The home is 2 miles north of Hoodsport, where you will find an IGA Grocer, Ace Hardware, a great pub, Mexican retaurant, oyster bar, brewery, winery, coffee shop, gift stores and distillery.
