Wivenhoe, England, United Kingdom
Rates from GBP £1800 | Monthly

House | Entire Home | House Sitting Requested
Available Dates:
From October 16, 2026 until February 13, 2027

Description

The house is designed to have four bedrooms, but we have made two into studies, and one of these will be locked up, so there are actually two bedrooms available for the stay, plus one study (which also has a single bed, for guests). There is a large garden planted with flowers, shrubs and trees, where there is a resident cat (who sleeps in the shed). Downstairs there is a lounge, dining room, kitchen-garden room, music room, toilet and hallway. The bedrooms have beautiful views over farmland and the Colne Estuary. There are lovely walks from over the countryside to woodland and the water. Wivenhoe is an arty, friendly community with cafes, galleries, a bookshop, delicatessan and other stores, and is well connected by road and public transport. It has often been voted one of the best places to live in Essex.
