Modern Log Cabin in Leverett Woods, Walking Distance to Elementary School

We are two graduate students with two little kids that plan to spend the Winter elsewhere. We would love to rent our home while we are away and are particularly interested in renters who wouldn't mind caring for our cat, Stinky, during that time (don't worry- she doesn't actually smell). We are happy to negotiate the rent for the right tenants and, in particular, if you can care for our cat. Our home is beautiful and very cozy in the winter. We have great views of the meadow, with lots of wildlife sightings (bears, bobcats, foxes, etc!). There are hiking trails right outside our door and Leverett Pond is just a short walk away, perfect for ice skating and ice fishing in winter. Leverett Library is almost directly next door and the elementary school just a five minute walk. The location is very rural and charming, particularly in Winter, but still only a 15 minute drive to Amherst and 30 minute drive to Northampton. The home has three bedrooms, one king bed, one queen bed, and one twin bed (kid's room). We also have a crib and sidecar cosleeper we can set up for you, as well as a changing table. One of the bedrooms is also used as an office and our wifi is great. There are two full baths, one with a lovely deep tub that is great in the winter. Washer, dryer, and all other amenities (Except microwave) also in home. It is important to know that there is no cell service in most of Leverett but our internet and landline cover our needs :) We're excited about renting our home to the right couple or family, so please get in touch if you are interested and we can discuss rent and other details.
