Natural hardwood floors and natural lighting give the apartment a bright ambience, and the neighborhood is so quiet that it is ideal for those who are working from home or prefer a quiet personal space. Guests have free access to a washing machine and a dryer on the premises. There is a small park with a well-equipped children's playground about a 1 minute walk away. It is quiet but cute, and ideal for young kiddos! Guests have access to the back yard which is still work in progress, but replete with flowers and an orange tree. My shy but lovely cat, Onion, is frequently found frolicking in the backyard! If you have a car, you can park it on the street, with no permit required. The apartment is less than 1 minutes' walk from the park. I work at UC Berkeley and commute daily, whether on bike or via public transport, and it takes me between 20-30 minutes to get to campus.
