Both my husband and I are academics. We’ll be away from Aarhus for a few months for work, and we’re looking to sublet our cozy apartment at Frederiks Plads (Aarhus C) from the end of December 2026 to mid-May 2027 (dates flexible). The apartment is 90 m² and features a large bedroom, a small guest room/office, a very spacious living room and balcony. It’s bright throughout the year, since the apartment is located on the third floor and has wide windows in every room. The apartment also has a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. The building is new and offers comfortable elevators, automatic doors, and secure indoor bicycle parking. Kids furniture (highchair, toddler bed, toys, etc.) is available upon request. The apartment does not allow pet and is non-smoking. The location is very quite despite being so central: it’s less than a 5-minute walk to Aarhus H, the letbane, and many bus lines. It is also within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in Frederiksbjerg, as well as Skanseparken and the farmers’ market. Tangkrogen and the sea are less than 15 minutes away on foot. Kvickly, Føtex, Netto, and Bruuns Galleri are also all very close by. The rent is 14,800 dkk per month (negotiable) and includes all utilities (water, heating, electricity, and high-speed wifi).
