Modern, well laid-out Central Berkeley home in a quiet, welcoming academic community. Safe, residential neighborhood with excellent walkability and bikeability. Walking distance to campus (15 min), Strawberry Creek Park, restaurants, transit (BART), grocery stores, and other amenities. The condo was built in the 90s, so it is modern and up to date. Our neighbors all have a connection to UC Berkeley, and there are many families with kids who play together in the common area. Main Features: 2 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms Office (may be used as a 3rd bedroom) Large closets / storage + additional shed (fits 2 bikes) Washer, dryer, dishwasher, dual oven, stove, refrigerator, and microwave, all updated within the last few years. Heating Nice patio Shared common room, playground, and outdoor area with BBQ Dedicated parking space We’re moving (we’ll be nearby!), and we are hoping to find a family to stay for 12 months ideally, although we are open to shorter stays. All of the appliances will stay, but the decor and some of the furniture will be coming with us, so the place will be more of an open canvas for your own style. Furniture that will be provided: Living room couch Dining table & 4 chairs (different from photos) King size bed & mattress Bed(s) for the second bedroom (twin beds or bunkbed) and mattresses. Utilities: WiFi is included PG&E (gas & electric) and water will be billed bi-monthly. If you’d like to have your name on a bill to establish residency, you can sign up with PG&E directly. Trash and recycling pickup included Cleaning fee $200, deposit of $3,000. We’ve been so happy in this one-of-a-kind community, and we know whoever stays here will be very happy too!
