I'm a Visiting Fellow at Princeton looking for someone to take over the lease of my Princeton faculty home, starting October 2026. This means that for the price of a one-time fee (500 USD), you can have the same rental agreement as offered by Princeton Housing, only - no waiting time or selection process - you get a fully furnished home, instead of the empty lot offered Merwick Stanworth is located a short walk north of the Princeton campus. It's a nice, quiet, peaceful neighbourhood, ideal for families and couples looking for enough space that makes working from home a breeze. The house has 2 bedrooms (one of which I've been using as a study, but there is an additional smaller study space as wel if you need both), 1,5 bathrooms, a spacious living room with kitchen area and a private patio overlooking a communal garden. The house comes with everything you need, from major appliances, furniture (two Queen beds, Sofa, TV, study desk, etc.), to minor things (all pots and pans, vacuum cleaner, etc.). Pay the same monthly rent as you normally would under the Princeton scheme, but if you take over my lease, you get everything you need for daily life, straight away! Just bring your luggage! I know this not be an empty promise, because it's the precise situation I was in less than a year ago, and the experience was incredibly easy and comfortable. At the time, I paid the previous owner's a lump sum for everything in the house (1000 USD), but considering the timeframe, I'm offering it for a whole lot less AND including the re-leasing fee charged by Princeton itself (usually 350 USD).
