Georgetown law professor looking to rent my fully-furnished basement in-law suite/apartment to a visiting academic. The suite has a separate, side entrance and full kitchen, and includes linen, dishes, cookware, coffeemaker, etc. We share access to the laundry. My teenage daughter, friendly cavapoo pup, and I make wonderful neighbors. And, if you're a dog person, my super-social pup would love to hang out with you in the backyard. We're in a quiet, residential neighborhood in northwest DC, about 1 mile from the Takoma Metro stop (red line). The bus at the corner will take you to Takoma Metro or the Petwork Metro (green line). Walk to coffee shops and stores on Kennedy Street -- and a 5 minute drive to the newly renovated Walter Reed development with Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc. We're about a 12 minute drive to Howard University, 15 minutes to Howard Law School, 15 minutes to American WCL, 20 minutes to American University, and 20 minutes to Georgetown Law.
