Our home is part of a two family house and is suitable for scholars, professionals or families who are looking to relocate to Turin and need time to find their bearings. Located in the hills of Turin, we are very close to the International (American) School and a mere ten minute drive into the city center. We live on a private street in a neighbourhood that is residential, quiet and safe. A car is required to live here. Free parking is available out front. Our home for over five years, we are happy to share it while we travel with those in need of a fully furnished, comfortable and cosy place in which to base themselves for a few months. Full of art, books and colour, we can accommodate up to four people in two bedrooms (there is a third room which however is not accessible). We currently have a very comfortable, top quality queen size bed and a good couch bed, but if you have different needs / two children, we are happy to see how we can accommodate your needs. Local services (markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, vets, cafés and restaurants) are a 5-10 minute drive (5 minutes for basics, 10 minutes for more choice). There is also a huge, car free park 2 minutes away by car (or a 10 minute walk uphill) which is perfect for children, dog walks, or if you want to hike into the city through nature. There are also many walking paths through the woods that circle Turin and start 2 minutes away (on foot). It's the perfect area if you want to enjoy the Urban side of Torino but also retreat to peace, quiet, and fresher air. The house offers use of two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large livingroom, a full bathroom (with shower and bathtub), a second restroom, a semi wrap around terrace with stunning views over the Alps, as well as a private flower filled courtyard, covered pergola and a dog friendly garden (more photos available upon request). Heating and AC are available throughout the house. Well behaved, house-trained dogs (only) are welcome upon prior agreement.
