This is a private, entire-home rental just 0.6–1 mile from Emory University, the CDC's Clifton Road campus, and Emory University Hospital — roughly a 15–20 minute walk or 5-minute drive to all three. The home sits on a busier main road, which means easy access, though light traffic noise may be noticeable with windows open. I'm an Emory faculty member myself, and I designed this space with academic guests in mind. In addition to the bedrooms, the home includes two dedicated home office rooms — ideal for research, writing, or remote work during an extended stay. Beautiful and large backyard. Walking/ running distance to nearby creek. Whether you're finishing a book, working on a grant, or need quiet, reliable space to focus, these rooms make working from "home" easy. What's included: Fully stocked kitchen with a brand-new fridge and oven, ready for extended stays Washer/dryer available in the basement Small home gym in the basement with weights and a bench — great for maintaining a routine while away High-speed wifi, reliable for remote work, video calls, and streaming Private driveway, free and reserved for guests Self check-in via keypad/lockbox — arrival time coordinated with me in advance Several indoor plants throughout the home that need regular watering during your stay (simple care instructions provided) Layout This is a multi-level home with stairs, including a finished basement — not ideal for guests with mobility limitations. House rules No pets, no smoking. Availability: Available spring semester through the end of summer 2027. My preference is for stays of three months or longer, but I'm open to negotiating shorter stays, with a one-month minimum. I'm flexible on exact move-in/move-out dates for the right match.
