Historic 1750 Rectory at St. Hanshaugen | Modern 3-Bedroom Home with Courtyard & Free Parking Our family home is a peaceful, fully modernized three-bedroom residence situated inside Gamle Aker prestegård (the Old Aker Rectory). Built in 1750, this designated heritage property is one of the oldest and most architecturally distinct residential estates in central Oslo. Arranged across two full levels as part of a quiet, three-unit owner-occupied wooden house, the home blends 18th-century exterior character with a fully renovated interior. It offers an exceptionally calm setting for writing, focused research, and family life, set directly beside expansive green parklands while remaining within walking distance of central Oslo and key transit lines. The Living Space The home spans two levels with excellent natural light and windows facing three exposures: south across the tranquil, historic grounds of Vår Frelsers gravlund; east toward a quiet, tree-filled mini-park; and north toward the private garden courtyard.
