Our apartment is a bright, spacious and comfortable home in a small three-unit building in a quiet residential part of Montréal. The main living area is open and welcoming, bringing together the living room, kitchen and dining room in one large shared space. The apartment has three separate bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. There is also a second full bathroom, for a total of two bathrooms and two toilets. The apartment is warm and lived-in rather than minimalist: we love books, music and cooking, so you will find well-stocked bookshelves, several guitars and musical instruments, and a fully equipped kitchen. It is a home designed for everyday life, relaxing, reading, cooking and spending time together. One of our favourite features is the bright private terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner outside in warmer weather. It has outdoor seating, a large parasol and a plancha for cooking. We also have a dedicated parking space. The apartment is located between the Angus and Hochelaga neighbourhoods, close to Sherbrooke Street. The area is residential, calm and leafy, while still being very convenient for exploring the city. Joliette metro station is about 200 metres away, and there are also several bus routes nearby. Daily essentials are all within easy walking distance, generally between 2 and 10 minutes: supermarkets, a bakery, pharmacy, grocery stores and a SAQ wine and spirits shop. It is a particularly convenient location if you want to enjoy Montréal while staying in a neighbourhood that feels local and peaceful rather than touristy. You can easily reach downtown and the main areas of the city by metro, while coming home to a quieter, more relaxed environment.
