It's a comfortable, light-filled ranch on a quiet street in the Catalina foothills, about 20 minutes from the University of Arizona campus. The house sleeps 4 comfortably: 3 bedrooms, 1 tv room with sofabed, 2 full and 1 half-bathroom, an open living and dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. There's a dedicated home office with a proper desk, separate AC, and a door that closes — we've both worked from it, and it's a genuinely quiet place to write. It also doubles as a gym, with a treadmill and weights. Fast fiber internet throughout. Washer and dryer in the house, central AC and heat, 2 fridges, all the other amenities. Ping pong table, piano, large TV. Outside there's a covered porch and a huge pool, and 2 hot tubs. Mountain views of the Catalinas, citrus trees, and trampoline. We'll arrange yard and pool service so you don't have to think about it. The Catalina foothills is a gorgeous area, with grocery stores (Whole foods, Safeway) nearby, cafés, restaurants, are within a 5-minute drive. Tucson International Airport is about 25 minutes by car. Practical details. The house comes fully furnished, including linens, towels, kitchenware. Car might be available, as well. Pets: negotiable — we have a dog ourselves, so the house is pet-friendly. Non-smoking. Children welcome; the neighborhood has top schools nearby — happy to share details. We'd prefer a visiting academic, researcher, or family, and we're flexible on exact start and end dates.
