Entry to this duplex is at street level, with one flight of stairs to enter living area which faces west and gets lots of sunlight. The rooms and furniture can be reconfigured depending on your group, needs, and length of stay. The Cal campus (University of California at Berkeley ) is eight blocks north of the house, or a 15-minutes walk, 5-minute bike-ride. The 51b bus goes up and down College Avenue every 20 minutes also. The Claremont Resort and Spa and the Berkeley Tennis Club are about 1/2 a mile from house (both have pools, tennis courts, and fitness clubs). The Strawberry Recreation Center is situated in an oak-studded setting on the periphery of the Cal campus and is only a 5-minute drive from house. They have outdoor lap and children's pools in a beautiful setting replete with redwood grove where summer concerts are held. The property is located in an all-flat terrain within walking distance of parks, (less than 100 yards away), fine dining, eateries, cafes, coffee, and shopping. There is a park located within a 1/4 block of the property which is set in a green field and shaded redwood grove with picnic tables, and a kids' play structures. San Francisco is about a 20-minute drive without traffic and also easily accessible by BART from Rockridge which is 10 blocks south of property on College Ave. There are additional properties that may be available at this location.
