Large BR in lovely 2.5BR/2Bth tri-level apartment in Prenzlauer Berg.

We are temporarily renting a 20 sqm bedroom in our beautiful, sun-filled tri-level apartment with ~1250 square feet / 115 square meters of indoor living space along with 2 south facing balconies, located in the highly desirable Winsviertel in Prenzlauer Berg, 5 minutes from Kollwitzplatz, 8 minutes from Volkspark Friedrichshain, and less than 10 minutes to Alexanderplatz by tram. Tram lines 2, 4 and 10 are close by. Humboldt University is only a 10-15 min bike ride away, the TU Berlin about 30 min. The Strandbad at lake Weissensee is reachable by tram in 10 minutes. You will share the apartment with a responsible college student in her early 20s. The apartment is fully furnished but you can also bring your own things (we have basement space). On the main level you will find a stainless-steel kitchen with seating for four people and a nice-sized south facing balcony, a bathroom with a shower, and a large, double height living room with a comfortable (sleeper) sectional couch and a mid-century dining set for six. A wooden staircase takes you up to the loft which is currently set up as a guest sleeping space. Below the loft is the custom-made spiral staircase that takes you downstairs to the lower level where you find the two bedrooms and a second full bath. The bedrooms are on either side of the bathroom and they do not share any walls. We also just purchased a brand new high-end washer-dryer for the apartment in June which sits underneath the spiral staircase. The smaller bedroom will most likely remain rented to our daughter's college friend who is in her early 20s. The apartment also has many other amenities (elevator, wireless internet, flat screen TV with cable, indoor exercise bike, microwave, etc). You will receive a temporary rental contract directly from the apartment owner (me) which means I am also able to give you a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung for the time of the rental. Please note that the image of the bedroom and of some of the overall furnishings in the pictures are outdated (the ugly armoire is long gone and the second bed space has been replaced with a high-end couch. There is also a newer couch in the LR) - this is just to give folks a general idea of the layout.
