A main house, guest cabin and carport sit peacefully on several acres of land offering forest and river views. The main house is oriented towards the Willamette River with large windows and a deck. The main house contains a living /kitchen space, dining area, master bedroom, master bath and a guest bath. A guest cabin is located 50 feet from the main house and provides a bedroom, bath and reading porch. At this time we are only only renting the main house. The property offers a quiet, close to nature experience, even though it is located a short walk from downtown Springfield and a 10 minute drive from the University of Oregon. The house is also located up the street from the Dorris Ranch, a 250-acre working filbert farm that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Dorris is open to the public and a special place to walk or jog on the many trails. The City of Eugene offers excellent dining, a fun Saturday framers' market, cultural events, and many outdoor activities. We have linked to the Timberline Lodge located on the south side of Mt. Hood. This historic lodge is one of our favorite winter weekend ski locations!
