The house will remain fully decorated but we have made space for you in closets, dressers and bookshelves. Main floor has open kitchen, half bath, living room and and dining room. Basement is partially finished for extra space, computer area, and washer and dryer. Solar panels provide electricity for energy saving split system heat pump and cool air conditioning. Work at home on the deck with retractable awning for shade in spring and fall and sit by a sunny window in winter. Quiet wooded lot with hiking trails nearby. Short walk to Wolf Rock and Sawmill Brook Preserve. Easy drive or bike to UCONN or ECSU (5-10 minutes). One car garage available. School bus service from driveway to best school district Storrs/Mansfield Schools, (Mansfield Elementary, Mansfield Middle and E.O.Smith High School). What is nearby? Hartford is about a 40 minute drive. Connecticut shore, beach, tide-pools, Old Sturbridge Village and Mystic Seaport all about 1 hour drive. Boston or New York City can be done in a day trip. Great for a family, visitors or someone new to the area. We are willing to discuss a mature, well behaved dog, with a $50/month pet fee. But sorry no cats due to allergies.
