PRIVATE LANEWAY HOUSE CLOSE TO UBC - We love our fully-furnished laneway house on a quiet street on the Kitsilano/Point Grey border. We hope you'll love it too! Our beautiful one-bedroom laneway house, designed and built by Smallworks in 2011, is on a very quiet residential street and is tastefully decorated. It has a spacious and airy two-story loft-style layout with vaulted ceilings. The main floor offers an open living/dining/kitchen area and polished cement floors with radiant heat. It's great for guests who love to cook: full kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and gas range and oven. If you prefer to cook outside, there's a small private patio with a BBQ, patio table and two chairs. The bedroom is on the upper floor and has a queen-size bed, dressing table/desk and chair and plenty of hanging space in the closet. The bathroom with tub and shower is on the main floor. There's also a double sofa bed in the living area for occasional guests. Guests have private in-suite laundry facilities (washer and dryer.) Our laneway house offers plenty of secure storage space for bikes, luggage etc. in the garage. We can recommend great local Kitsilano/Point Grey restaurants, bars, and shops which are just a few minutes' walk away. This location is ideal for transit users: our house is 2 minutes' walk from the 99 B-Line express bus stop for The University of British Columbia or Vancouver General Hospital and for local buses (7 and 14) to downtown Vancouver. There's plenty of free, on-street parking for guests with a car. Our house is designed for a single person or a couple. Sorry, no smokers, no pets. We live in a quiet residential neighbourhood, so we ask that guests respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. The rental price includes all utilities: gas, electricity, high speed wireless internet and HDTV with Apple TV and Netflix. 31-day minimum rental period.
