Portland, Oregon, United States
Our cozy 1928 bungalow sits on a large, secluded lot with views of downtown (through trees). Living room is bright with two walls of windows and a fireplace; the small but very handy kitchen adjoins a dining room with French doors to the big front deck; two small bedrooms and bath complete the living space; they face the expansive bakyard. Basement with laundry facilities is available for your use; upstairs master suite has been turned into personal storage, and is not (that's the second story visible in photograph).Very private and quiet; large yard with multiple fruit trees and raised beds, a veritable "urban farm" including chickens and bees (these could be moved if you'd prefer not to deal with livestock), as well as mostly-native landscaping. Close to restaurants and shops and a half block from the bus stop. A very easy place to retreat from Covid-19, if need continues, and otherwise, handy to all the delights of Portland and the exceptional outdoor options provided by Oregon's coast, volcanic peaks, Columbia Gorge, and desert.
