Our wonderful, sunny, home is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, with some of the city's best restaurants, markets, and shops. Take an easy stroll and arrive at Tartine, Delfina, Flour and Water, Bi-rite Market, or Humphrey Slocum ice cream – and those are just a few of the delights awaiting you in our neighborhood. There is a farmer’s market every Thursday afternoon with local, sustainable fresh fruits, produce, and other delicious treats -- and live, local music as well. And luckily, while all these wonderful delights are just minutes away, our building is located on a quiet, sunny, tree-lined street away from the bustle of city activity. The 2nd-floor apartment has a large, sunny living room, kitchen, and dining area with modern appliances and furnishings. The building, built in 1895, was remodeled in the early 2000's and transformed into a sleek, comfortable modern home, complete with stainless-steel appliances that are quiet and energy-efficient. The floors are a warm-toned concrete with radiant heat throughout the home, and cozy carpets cover floors in all major rooms. The living room is cozy and great for resting, reading, studying, or working. The large, sunny front room is a favorite place to spend time, either quietly or with guests. Both bedrooms are comfortable, quiet, and have ample closet space. The rear deck garden and rear bedroom have wonderful morning sun exposure. The bathroom is modern and the shower has great water-pressure. We have a washer-dryer, excellent wifi throughout, television with cable and Roku. Location and transportation! If you want to travel to other parts of the city, it’s easy from the Mission. Hop on BART a few blocks away and arrive downtown, or the east bay (Oakland/Berkeley), in minutes. MUNI buses are just as easy to get on. Great neighborhoods surround you: The Castro, Potrero Hill, Bernal Heights, and The Haight, as well as The Sunset, Richmond and Pacific Heights. Great parks, too – Dolores Park is just minutes away, and Golden Gate Park is a short trip. If you like to bike, the Mission is the best place to start your journey, as it is all flat. We love the neighborhood and we think you’ll love it too. We look forward to hearing from you.
