UC Davis PROF Looking for a Two + Bedroom Apartment in SF; August /Sept

After eight lovely years of living in the lively Mission—and with our daughters now charting their college lives— Courtney and I (& Poppy, our "gateway" little dog) are looking for a year-long rental or sublet: a 2-bedroom-ish house, ideally in SF, though elsewhere in the Bay could work. While we take time to find a home to purchase, we are open to: rentals, subleases, co-ops or co-tenancies (if there’s separate floors). Our preferred location would be a hill. Walkably close to BART (for my commute to Davis) is a plus, but not a deal-breaker. We are flexible and have great curiosity about many neighborhoods, ranging from North Beach to the Inner Sunset... even to central East Bay (Berkeley, Oakland, etc.) Empty, furnished, or semi-furnished could work for us; Parking on premises would be amazing, but not required; Ideally, a convertible couch or bed in an office for when daughters return from school... Starting July 1, Aug 1, September 1, (or Sept 15, or Oct 1). Prefer a one-year lease, but open to other arrangements / possibilities.
