Description
I’m going on my first sabbatical this fall (after 8 long years) and am looking for a comfortable temporary home in the Charleston area for my 12 yr old son and me. I’m an Assoc Prof of anthropology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and I’ve recently begun studying communal child rearing and alternatives to child welfare in Black communities. Now I’m starting the ethnographic leg of the project with my own Gullah cultural community!
