I am seeking a quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained home where I can focus on research, writing, and creative projects. I am a film researcher, digital archivist, and author currently working on *The Anna May Wong Compendium*, an illustrated reference book on pioneering Chinese American actress Anna May Wong. Much of my time is spent conducting archival research, writing, organizing historical materials, and visiting libraries, museums, and collections. A friend will also be staying with me. We recently completed a CNC machining and manufacturing training program together at Humanmade in San Francisco (March–May 2026). We are both responsible, respectful, and community-minded individuals who appreciate a clean, peaceful living environment. Outside of work, my interests include classic films, history, museums, photography, books, music, walking, exploring local neighborhoods, and cultural events. I enjoy learning about the places I visit and spending long afternoons in archives, libraries, and historic sites. We are both non-smokers, do not host parties, and value being considerate neighbors. Ideally, we are looking for a home with reliable internet access, access to public transportation, and a welcoming atmosphere that supports focused work and exploration of the local community. We will treat your home with care and respect as if it were our own.

Hello! I'm Rebecca Lee, a film researcher, writer, digital archivist, and former preschool teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. My work focuses on classic Hollywood history, particularly the life and legacy of Anna May Wong, the first Chinese American movie star in Hollywood. I am currently researching and writing a reference book dedicated to her life and career. I enjoy spending time in archives, libraries, museums, historic sites, independent cinemas, and bookstores. My work is largely research and writing based, so I appreciate quiet, comfortable spaces where I can focus and be productive. I am a respectful, responsible, and tidy guest who values clear communication and treating other people's homes with care. I am a non-smoker and have extensive experience caring for homes and pets throughout the Bay Area, which has strengthened my appreciation for maintaining a clean and welcoming living environment. Travel allows me to learn from new places, cultures, and communities. Whether I'm exploring local history, attending cultural events, or simply enjoying a good book and a cup of tea, I value meaningful experiences and thoughtful connections. I look forward to connecting with homeowners, researchers, creatives, and fellow lifelong learners.
