We are a responsible, respectful couple seeking a clean and comfortable home beginning in mid-July. Our preferred areas include Live Oak, Capitola, Soquel, Aptos, and nearby Santa Cruz neighborhoods, with proximity to Cabrillo College especially attractive. We were referred to Sabbatical Homes by our current landlords, with whom we have enjoyed a very positive six-month tenancy. Their recommendation introduced us to the platform’s more personal and relationship-oriented approach to housing. We value a peaceful living environment and take excellent care of our living space. Natural light, outdoor space, and room for acoustic music, creative projects, and quiet work are appreciated. We are flexible regarding the specific housing arrangement and are primarily interested in finding a good mutual fit. I’m semi-retired and focused on classical and jazz music, education, and creative projects. Cabrillo College is an important part of my musical and educational activities, and I’m currently in the application process for a Teaching Associate position after receiving an invitation to apply, so being close to campus is desirable. Nisha enjoys gardening, cooking, and staying active through Orangetheory Fitness in Capitola. We do not smoke, have no pets, and have one vehicle. We enjoy spending time outdoors and appreciate the many community activities available throughout the Santa Cruz - Monterey Bay area.
