MIT Visiting Professor & spouse looking for a fall home (Sept. 1-Dec. 15)

Description

I'm an architect and historian at the University of Maryland-College Park. This fall I'll be a visiting professor at MIT's School of Architecture. My husband (also an academic) will be joining me. We are super responsible and appreciate architectural character, lots of light, and tasteful furnishings. We'd like a quiet location while also walkable to shops, etc. Reasonable commute to MIT via bus, T, and/or walking. We do have a car so we'll need parking, preferably on-site. Our dates are Sept. 1 through Dec. 15, with a few days' flexibility at either end. My salary provides no housing allowance, so cost is an issue. We would appreciate the possibility of a discount for the extended, 3-1/2 month stay. Thanks for your consideration!
