About Me

I am a licensed architect with 2 published books and nearly 30 years of experience teaching at universities across the United States. I have been teaching at Cornell since 2018, where I am director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Landscape Architecture. I live in Syracuse with my wife Lori, a distinguished professor at Syracuse University, and our dog Iggy. Because I split my time between Ithaca and Syracuse, I am interested in finding a place to stay for 2 nights per week in Ithaca so as to reduce the amount of weekly driving, especially in late fall where it gets dark early. I am extremely private and quiet, and will be more than happy to provide references as needed.
