I am a Danish academic relocating to Dunedin with my family for a 3-month research stay at the University of Otago, and we are looking for a place to call home while staying in Dunedin. I am currently pursuing my PhD, focusing on the human-nature relationship - a topic that makes us incredibly excited to explore New Zealand's landscapes and stunning nature during our stay. My husband, Oliver, is a self-employed designer who runs his own business and will be working remotely during our stay. We have two wonderful children, who will be 2 and 5 years old when we embark on our exchange. They have secured spots at the local Rōpu Tiaki Tamaiti childcare center, and we are really looking forward to becoming part of the local community. Back home in Copenhagen, we own and lovingly maintain a historic house built in 1916. Because we are homeowners ourselves, we deeply understand the care, respect, and attention a house requires. We are respectful, responsible, and we promise to treat your property as if it were our own. While we are open to options, we are hoping to find a home in a child-friendly neighborhood such as Maori Hill, Roslyn, or other green areas close to the University and local parks, giving our children a safe and wonderful base. Since we are organizing our move from Denmark, we are more than happy to jump on a video call to introduce ourselves. We can provide excellent financial, employment, and character references upon request. We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully finding the perfect match! Warm regards, Lene, Oliver, Kamma & Benny

Comments: We are looking for a family friendly furnished home, a garden or backyard where our kids can play is a big plus! But close proximity to a park is also great.
