Local family looking for home during remodel

Hello! We are a local Berkeley family of four seeking a temporary home while completing a major renovation on our own house. As homeowners ourselves, we understand how much trust is involved in opening your home to someone else, and we would care for your home with the same respect and attention that we would hope for in ours. We are Bay Area locals with family in the East Bay as well as having two children who attend school in Albany. We are deeply rooted in the community here. We also have a well-behaved cat and a small, hypoallergenic doodle (28 lbs.) who is house-trained, quiet, and non-shedding. If a dog is not a fit for your property, she can stay with family nearby. We are responsible, conscientious tenants who value cleanliness, communication, and reliability. We are comfortable caring for gardens and houseplants, attentive to the day-to-day needs of a home, and appreciate the privilege of living in a space that belongs to someone else. Because construction timelines can be unpredictable, we are flexible regarding length of stay and are open to both shorter-term arrangements (approximately two months) and longer stays of six months or more. We expect our renovation to take close to a year, so we are prepared to be thoughtful, stable tenants throughout that process. We hope to find homeowners who are looking for occupants who will genuinely care for their home while they are away. We would be happy to provide references and answer any questions about our family.
